THE ZIPPS came from Belfast/Northern Ireland and existed for a short time in the late 70s. Their first and only release, the “Don't tell the detectives EP” originally came out on Rip Off Records in 1979 and has been sold out ever since. Thanks to Mad Butcher Classics, it's finally back on vinyl. 2x very early punk rock, but more in the vein of STOOGES than SEX PISTOLS ...
