MDC (Millions of dead cops), the indestructible American political hardcore punk institution around Dave Dictor with their Solit EP with the Swedish straight edge hardcore band Iron.
The backstory: At the "American Music Awards", Green Day incorporate the MDC classic "Born to die" with modified anti-Trump lyrics into their performance in front of an audience of millions, triggering a huge media response in the USA. Shortly afterwards, MDC re-record their song with changed lyrics as "No trump no KKK no fascist USA" and release it for the first time in the form of this EP. Released in Europe as a split EP with the Swedish band Iron via Twisted Chords and in the US as a split with The Antidon'ts (Florida) on Swamp Cabbage Records.
MDC with two exclusive songs, "No trump" and "Merry fucking christmas", and their classic, unmistakable mix of 80s hardcore and punk rock and direct, angry political lyrics. Iron also with two new and exclusive songs, "Rise" and "No way out", and furiously fast SE hardcore of the very best kind. Think of DS-13 or Vitamin X and you know what kind of avalanche will hit you here.
The EP comes with gatefold cover including lyrics/info and download code.
