Exceptional classic! Re-release of this German obscurity from 1982 with great sound and full reproduction of the original fold-out cover. While the US had moved on to hardcore by 1982, this five-song EP by Honkas reminds me more of the hard European punk of the first generation like the Rude Kids or PF Commando, although fans of better-known bands like the Dead Boys might also get their money's worth from Honkas. The mix is odd and uneven, which gives it that outsider quality. If you love rousing, obscure punk, you've come to the right place. Don't let the tear travel and treat yourself to this piece of punk history.
