If there is one art form in which these veteran punks from Brest have excelled, it is that of composing punk songs that are both dark and memorable. On this 45 rpm record, which resembles a good old-fashioned single from the era, GRISAILLE does not deviate from the rule of anxious and desperate melodies. But where their other projects are firmly rooted in French heritage, their sound here is also a tribute to the Copenhagen/Umeå scene, reminiscent of the late period of GORILLA ANGREB and its twangy guitar chords, as well as the impeccable production of MASSHYSTERI's eponymous album.
