FARMACO - Hasta Que Valga La Pena Vivir - Flexi-Disc, red

Hasta Que Valga la Pena Vivir is the demo of Fármaco, a punk quartet from Argentina. They play an incredibly dark, twisted and raw punk style. The drums maintain a hypnotic rhythm with half beats, while the guitar plays repetitive plucking movements that eventually put you into a trance. For me the voice is the strongest element. It appears as a lament from a distance, you feel it far away, but at the same time it is omnipresent and powerful. A cross between EXIT ORDER (especially in the verses of Todo Muere and Porvenir) and SOBERANIA PERSONAL, the mythical Argentine band (they even include a version of Líder, from their album Benditos Sean Muñecos que Pegan). The lyrics show us a negative perspective, but with a strong political content, aware of the problems of this corrupt world.
