BRIARD - I Really Hate Ya / I Want Ya Back - 7"

A long-awaited re-release that was promised long ago is finally here: the first punk rock seven-inch ever released in Finland, officially reissued with a number of photos from the recording sessions that were previously unseen. I Really Hate Ya / I Want Ya Back by Briard was strangely released in 1977 on a mainstream label, Scandia, but in an edition of only a few hundred copies, making it one of the rarest and most expensive Finnish punk records.

Led by Pete Malmi and featuring a young Andy McCoy on guitar, Briard evolved from the earlier incarnation Philadelphia Motherfuckers and later released a handful of seven inches and an album on other labels, as Scandia parted ways with them shortly after the single release. The Svart reissue reproduces the original gatefold sleeve design and includes a booklet.
