Varukers belonged to the spearhead of UK 82-Punk together with The Exploited, G.B.H and Discharge in the early eighties, but disbanded in the meantime and came crawling out of their holes again in the nineties.

The ''How Do You Sleep'' album is fast, furious and definitely not mainstream.The only original member Rat and his colleagues are roaring through an inferno, which is brought to the point.  The twelve songs rush out of the boxes in a pig's gallop in barely 25 minutes, the riffs are minimalist as ever and the message is still highly political and without hackneyed phrases or beat around the bush.

A killer album, originally released in 2000 as the 6th studio album on the US label Go Kart Records. The album was so highly praised by fans and critics that the band was able to tour Japan again and even performed on stage in Australia, New Zealand and Brazil for the first time.

The vinyl-only release from Matus Records is pressed on plain and timelessly chic black vinyl, the cover and the lyricsheet are printed on a cardboard with a noble matt look.
