TERMINAL FILTH - Death Driven - LP

TERMINAL FILTH is a brand new crust act from Berlin. The reference to the quartet from Norwich is more than obvious, but these four crusters don't just copy what DEVIATED INSTINCT created back then! Echoes of AMEBIX and ANTISECT are of course clearly audible in their sound, but they reminded me most of early HELLSHOCK. They switch from slow, dark and heavy stench-core to very aggressive and fast crust-core, not forgetting the melody here and there, especially in the intro of some tracks. All this made us shudder and scream "CRUST IS ALIVE" at the first listen!!! They didn't add much to the classic formula, and that's a good thing in my opinion, because a weird crossover between crust and whatever would be superfluous.
