REAL DEAL, THE - By The Wall - LP

Limited to 200 copies! The Real Deal were a Leipzig band that existed from December 1987 to spring 1989. The predecessor Reininghaus began in January 1987 as the duo Müller / Reininghaus, before expanding into a sextet (with Robert Gläser on bass, among others, previously with L'Attentat). The trio released four tapes in the 18 months of its existence. In January 1989, the GDR indie band played a legendary gig in what was then East Berlin. Already successful and sought-after as a tape at the time, a vinyl edition of the concert is now being released for the first time. Post-punk and wave pop in astonishingly good sound quality, timeless and captivating songs. There's also a four-page booklet with lots of photos, the band story and an interview with drummer Kai Müller and singer Kai Reininghaus.
