PSYCH-WAR – Psychotic Warmonger – LP

11 tracks of pure crust punk, the likes of which I haven't heard in a long time. The influences are diverse, but Sweden is the master. The vocals are sometimes reminiscent of Jonsson from the early days of Wolfpack, sometimes of Jocke from Dischange/Meanwhile, and as far as the music goes, Tompa's Disfear was definitely a big inspiration. But Psych-War don't stop there, also offering motorpunk elements and a few nice mid-tempo tracks, all enriched by beautiful guitar work in the style of Bolt Thrower and some stinking breakdowns that further enhance the power of this album. There's nothing more to add to that.
