Los Angeles' Generacion Suicida return with their first new album in four years and fifth album overall.
Recorded and mixed by Tony, the band's guitarist and singer, this album retains everything that has been their trademark, namely raw, melodic and catchy punk rock sung in Spanish, but this time with a pinch of post-punk, which is a logical evolution of the sound of their last albums "Reflejos" and "Sombras".
"Regeneracion was written entirely during the Covid Lockdown of 2020. 2020 was also the year that people apparently decided they'd had enough. Enough of state oppression, enough of police violence, enough of systemic racism and white supremacy. All these feelings and more bubbled up and flowed into these tracks. Although there were moments in life that felt bleak, we know that the people in our community are resilient and strong, and it's for them that we wrote these songs."
