G.B.H. - City Baby's Revenge - LP

After the chart-topping debut City Baby Attacked By Rats, Birmingham UK82 punk pioneers Charged G.B.H. released City Baby's Revenge, their second record for Clay Records. And although only one year had passed, City Baby's Revenge showed a clear further development: Jock's guitar was even more clearly inspired by metal, the lyrics even more explicit and the sound even rougher than before. With the cool "I Feel Alright" by the Stooges and the reggae/rockabilly-esque "Skanga", this is the LP that helped the band break through in the USA and is arguably the best thing they ever recorded - a must for the band's followers and all fans of metal-inspired hardcore punk.
