After their successful debut on tape, which was promptly reissued on vinyl in 2021, EGO from Berlin are attacking again with their first proper full-length. 10 tracks of pure UK 82 punk with a sinister twist. Nesa's powerful voice is accompanied by a stainless rhythm section and a wall of guitars reminiscent of bands that rumbled behind the Iron Curtain. What else is there to say? It's impossible to sit still while listening to this album. The graphics are in pure black and white by Nesa/Doomsday Graphics are as always minimal, disturbing and simply brilliant. Also available in Milky Clear Black and Wihte Splatter Vinyl

This album has never been on vinyl before, so the sixteen songs got remastered in autumn 2020. The first edition of this album was released in the year 1983 as cassette only on the swedish label ÄGG TAPES & RECORDS.
The sound is gruff and heavy (particularly the vocals, which are growling and intense), but the music is adventurous, working in elements of shoegaze and darkwave around the edges.
Finally the debut album of the three Hamburg punks sees the light of day, only to put it out again straight away. LIGHT OFF! ...but in the dark it's not good to muck about, because nothing is good and nothing will be.
Completely filthy, sawing and no-frills sound, a throaty nagging singer and reverberating back vocals provide the absolute demolition of any sense of well-being.
