DISCHARGE - s/t - LP

This was the fifth proper studio album from legendary English hardcore/punk band Discharge, released on CD only by Sanctuary Records in 2002. The self-titled album marked the return of the classic line-up of Cal, Bones, Tezz and Rainy Wainwright, it was to be the last Discharge album to feature original vocalist Cal Morris. Recorded in the summer of 2001, the album marked a return to the familiar sound of the past two decades. The newly formed Discharge returned to their roots and created an astonishingly brute and crushing noise record in the tradition of their 1982 debut album "Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing". The album represents one of the most successful re-formations of a group that miraculously managed to carry some of their old energy into a new era, which for a punk group - whose spark was pure youthful rage.
