Hard limited organge-yellow-ingspot vinyl!!! Limited to 200 pieces!!!
For the first time on vinyl, the "Fahneneid" disc from 2004!
The year is 2004 and a chaotic trio called ALARMSIGNAL are on their way from Celle to a small backyard studio in Aurich. In their luggage: no idea (and a lot of it) and 16 songs that they only halfway know how to play. The band had come together four years earlier, around the turn of the millennium, but almost everyone who heard the band during those first few years and beyond said that ALARMSIGNAL didn't have much of a future, and they felt the same way themselves. Nevertheless, they wanted to show their critics and resolved to release at least one album, partly so that they would have some kind of reminder of their musical crimes later on. The fact that over a dozen more albums were to follow over the years is another story.
Borsti, Steff and Kühn recorded their debut "Fahneneid" in just two afternoons and released it themselves in 2005 before a major German punk label came knocking. The run on this album was overwhelming, which the band itself had probably least expected. After all, this album contains songs with lyrics, some of which date back to the nineties and thus bear witness to a very special era of German punk.
These carefree, chaotic beginnings of the band are part of the beginnings and history of ALARMSIGNAL and as "different" as this album may seem in contrast to the band's more recent works, it is now often cited by many long-established punks as a scene entry and companion with which a lot of wild memories are associated.
ALARMSIGNAL's debut album "Fahneneid" has long since achieved cult status - so it's high time it was released as a limited edition "Ink-Spot" vinyl on Aggressive Punk Productions (Edel/Kontor New Media) on 14 April 2023. Exclusively included on this LP version are 4 bonus tracks in the form of the band's first demo, which is of course long out of print.
